When you get in touch with us, you trust us with your details. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect, why, how we look after it and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

skaletweb (“Skalet Web”, “we”, “us”) is a web and digital service of Skalet International Private Limited, Delhi, India (CIN U70200DL2023PTC415529). We are responsible for the personal data described on this page.

We aim to handle personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other laws that apply to us.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to share with us, mainly through:

• Our website, when you email us or use a contact link on skaletweb.com.
• Lead forms on Facebook and Instagram (run by Meta), when you respond to one of our ads.

This can include:

• your name;
• your phone or WhatsApp number;
• your email address, if you give it;
• your business name and details about your business;
• what you need from us, such as a website, online store, social media or ads.

Please don’t send us sensitive information, such as bank, health or identity document details, through these channels.

How we use it

We use your details only to:

• contact you about the Skalet services you asked about;
• send you quotes and answer your questions;
• plan and deliver your project if you go ahead with us.

By sharing your details with us, you agree to us using them for these purposes. We won’t use them for anything unrelated without asking you first.

Where it is kept

Your details are stored in Skalet’s internal customer system (CRM). Only our team members who need them to reply to you or work on your project can access them, and we take reasonable steps to keep them safe.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:

• with service providers we need to run our business, such as our website hosting provider, and Meta as the platform that runs Facebook and Instagram lead forms;
• with tawk.to, our live chat provider, which receives the chat messages you send and any name or email you type in the chat;
• when we are required to by law or by a lawful request from authorities.

When you fill in a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta also handles that data under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as we need them for your enquiry or project. After that, we delete them when you ask us to, or after a reasonable period of no contact, normally 24 months of inactivity, unless the law requires us to keep certain records longer (for example, invoices).

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you;
• correct or update it;
• delete it;
• stop using it, by withdrawing your consent at any time.

Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect anything we did before you withdrew it, but it may mean we can no longer help with your enquiry. To make any of these requests, email us at the address below and we’ll reply within a reasonable time.

Cookies

skaletweb.com does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Our live chat widget, provided by tawk.to, stores cookies and local storage on your device so the chat works, and keeps the chat messages you send with tawk.to. If you reach us through a Facebook or Instagram ad, Meta may use its own cookies and technologies on its platforms; those are covered by Meta’s policies.

Children

Our services are meant for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has shared details with us, please contact us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
